The Las Vegas Mormon Youth Symphony & Chorus The Las Vegas Mormon Youth Symphony & Chorus is made up of accomplished LDS musicians age 14 and older. Participation in the symphony and chorus is by audition only. The group is governed by a board of directors, all of whom donate their time.
The mission statement of the LVMYSC is to allow young, LDS musicians the opportunity to feel the spirit and build testimonies by serving others through music.
The symphony and chorus rehearses Saturday mornings at a local LDS church. Performance opportunities include at least two major concerts, firesides, youth conferences, workshops, and other special events each season.
