Symphony Audition Information 2009-2010 Audition Information: + Symphony auditions will be held Saturday, September 26, 2009. + Please submit the Letter of Intent and call Jenny Jackson at 220-7744 for an audition time. + Auditions will be held at the Lindell Chapel, 2245 Lindell Rd., Las Vegas, NV 89102 String Audition Requirements: + Age 14 and older + Scale - player's choice (3 octaves) + Prepare music excerpts provided by the LVMYSC. Wind and Percussion Audition Requirements: + Age 14 and older + Scale - player's choice (3 octaves woodwinds, 2 octaves brass) + Prepare music excerpts provided by the LVMYSC. + Sight read a selection provided by the director + Percussion: play a concert roll on snare and timpani drums and tune timpani
